Sorry for such a newb question. I just purchased the Laser Engraver for my XY Plotter (also new) which runs on Mainboard. When I connect the USB to my computer running Windows 7, the XY Plotter turns on and the pencil dealy thing goes up and down twice. I start BenBox 3.7.99 and attempt to connect to the XY Plotter. COM3 comes up and i connect and it says (successful) but i still cannot control the Plotter. I then press the lightning bolt thing and attempt to update the Firmware. I select COM3, I select the Leonard mainboard and browse for the .hex file. I select the 32u4 like the instructions says but when i hit ok and the check mark, i just get a spinning wheel that never turns into a Green checkmark. The Pencil holder thing goes up and then down again and then it never reconnects to the computer it seems. I have tried all of the different .hex’s but nothing seems to work and i cannot get it to work!
Any help on the matter would be well appreciated! Thank you!!
