you mention these very beautiful names in the kickstarter update: Wang Jianjun, Yue Huageng, Du Xiaoqing, Zhang Hongqian, Wang Yongxu, Deng Shitao, Wang Yong, Yin Jun, Le Heng, Zhang Fan
Why don’t we see these people on the forum ? Or are Eric, James and Johnson aliases ?

Haha, We use these English style names only because it’s easy to pronounce for English speaker, thanks for saying these are beautiful names.
Thank for your warm attention, I am a friend of Jasen Wang(Wang Jianjun), the founder of Makeblock. I spend time to design some mechanical parts for Makeblock, just for fun and hobby. Not included in the team. I use the name Johnson because the pronounce is similar with my Chinese name(Zhang Sheng).
I think it’s really a good time for Makeblock team to publish family photo, just like the Arduino team, and mark the Names and corresponding Chinese Name on it. How do you think, paulcobbaut?

A family picture with real names would be awesome, but make sure you have everyones permission before posting it. I would also prefer to see the real names of the people on this forum, but I understand that some people prefer privacy online.
Although it is much cooler to talk with Zhang Sheng or Wang Jianjun than with Johnson (already know many Johnsons) or Eric (I know at least ten people namend Eric…).
I always use my real name online. You can find data on my real name on the internet all the way back to 1997 (granted there are three other people with the same name).
By the way, my name is paul (i can’t change the display name paulcobbaut on this forum, but nobody calls me that).
