I bought an Ultimate 2.0 robot kit two weeks ago, and I discovered that my robot gripper is not responding using the mblock program. I tried to plug and unplug the gripper wire but it is not working.

I did both recommandation you indicated,but I still cannot open and close properly the gripper.
I am using this command below to open and close the gripper :
Is it the right one ?
When applying 100(degree) it open completly and then stay stuck. The gripper cannot obey anymore to any command.
Does it exist a relationship between the openess and the value entered as rotate ?

mariom thank you for your answer, but no it is still not working ;but I hear the noise of the motor trying to move the gripper, but it is stuck, I don’t know why.

Sorry to hear that!
Please upgrade firmware for MegaPi again and then test with the following program.
You may take a video to show your operation and the behaves on the Ultimate gripper, which may help to locate the problem.
Besides, could you please take a picture to show the wiring connections on the Ultimate?

So when I start connecting my robot via the cable port 4, it says connected but it cannot execute any programms and It cannot upgrade firmware : see below :
Then I upgrade firmware :
Two minute later it says:
Sometimes it does that and some it don’t. It impedes me to program properlythe the device.
So I cannot even upgrade the firmware. I will try again later and try your program.
Ho ! I think I just discovered the matter of the problem.
I used 3.0 usb port that’s why, when I use 2.0 it works fine.
The program is working just fine , it open then close forever.

I have actually a last question.
My goal is to program the robot to run forward until he see something (with the ultrasonic sensor) and catch it and then put it away. But my problem is that i can’t make him run for a certain distance.
This command below is not working at all : wether I put 10 or 99999 there is no change.
could someone help me ?
