The first 1 à 3 mm of many drawingobjects are often not cut/burned.
The result is different each time.
See attached example with test-text and test squares.
Config: Speed: 600 mm/min, 90% power of 1.6 W laser
I was first suspecting the software.
But, the active laser does pass over this first 1 à 3 mm, but I see no burning at all on this first 1 à 3 mm.
I suspect that the laser needs more time to output full power.
Is this a HW or design problem of LaserBot ?
If this is a HW problem, does anyone know which part is working incorrectly ?:
- the laser-diode
- the power-control to the laser-diode
Are there any workarounds to overcome this problem ?
My best solution at this time: set the repeat time minimal to ‘2’.
The laser has no problem with the second writing if begin- and end-point are the same. (circle for example)
But the beginning 1 à 3 mm is cut/burned only once, the rest twice.
