Me Dual Motor Driver

Is there a way to use external power on the ME Dual Motor Driver? Unlike the Me Motor Driver v2, there doesn’t appear to be an external power connector.

Also, I found the LED’s D4,D5,D6,D7 very useful for troubleshooting.

I found that the PWR LED is also useful in determining that the boards were properly attached and that sufficient power was running through them. The LED brightness is a clue on whether there is enough power to drive the board.

Hi @Crey,

There are 2 pairs of pin expansions on the each side of the PCB board. You could solder pin on them as the external power supply.

Thanks for the pic.

I have a Raspberry Pi and want to use your dual motor diver to drive 2 motors (37mm DC Motors )
I want to drive the motor by pulsing the GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) of the Pi
I want to use the RJ 25 Plug to connect from the Pi to the motor driver but can not find a pin out.

Please help me with:

  1. where to find pin out for RJ25
  2. what is the duration of pulses for 25% speed; 50% speed and 75% speed.
