ME Bluetooth Module (dual mode) from Robot Starter Kit - Can it run in Master mode?

Hello,
I am wondering what the “dual mode” specification in the ME Bluetooth Module (dual mode) from Robot Starter Kit stands for.
Is it possible to use the ME Bluetooth Module (dual mode) from Robot Starter Kit in Master mode to establish a connection with a PS3 controller?
If yes, where can I get some instructions on how to do it? Any hint will be bery appreciated.
