HI, I’m buying my daughter the starter robot kit as a birthday present so I want to surprise her. I’m trying to decide between the remote versus the bluetooth controlled. Is there one that seems to have less glitches? Or a strong reason to do one versus the other?

Bluetooth has apps you can use so if you want to play with it from your phone, that is ideal. It can be buggy at times.
2.4G works solely from your computer.
In both cases, the included remote can control it.
Personally I think the 2.4G has less glitches. How old is your daughter? I worked with an 8 year old girl over Christmas and she loves her mBot but is mostly into modifying it and controlling it with the included remote.
