We just started using a brand new mBot Ranger and assembled it with the tracks on. We are using the smaller gears, and tried to adjust position of the motor and other gears, but the motors do not turn the tracks. Without the tracks, both motors spin the gears that are attached to them. We upgraded the firmware as well, but this did not make a difference. With the tracks on you can hear the motors running, but nothing moves. We switched out the batteries for new batteries and also tried a 12V/2a adapter, so I do not think this is a power issue.
