Ranger obstacle avoidance was not working out of the box. Initially I though it was a malfunctioning ultrasonic sensor, but I tried some solutions in the FAQ and it seams the sensor is actually working.
I tried updating the firmware and it won’t work. I have already tried different cables, MAC and Windows, and it just won’t go all the way through.
Can you please help?
After several failed attempts I was finally able to update the firmware. But still can’t get some options to work… obstacle avoidance still not working. When in control mode if I press 360º spin it will start the spin and stop after 1/3 of the spin. Follow the line also does not work.
