mBot Ranger blutooth connect on Android 4.4

Hi,
we have several different Android devices and there is various behavior of these:

  • Tablet A700, 10" Display, Android 4.1: Connection is OK, custom Button can’t edit code
  • Smartphone 4.5" Display, Android 4.4: can’t connect to ranger, custom Button code editable
  • Smartphone 4.3" Display, Android 5.1, Connection is OK , custom Button code editable
  • Smartphone 5.2" Display, Android 6.1, Connection is OK , custom Button code editable

“App Required： Android 4.1 and above” that’s wrong

Thanks for your feedback!
According to your post, our engineers have done the test.
The Makeblock App support edit code on Android 4.1, while there is posibilities that it runs very slow if the Android 4.1 mobile phone is very old. In this case, you may need change the mobile phone and wait for our optimization.
As for the Android 4.4, there should be no issue connect to the Ranger, we suspect the power for the ranger is not enough, which is easy to lead to connect difficult with Ranger Bluetooth.
