mBot Neo won't connect to tablet or update firmware

#1

When I try to connect via bluetooth with my iphone or ipad mini, it says use PC version of mBlock to restore firmware. When I follow the instructions to update the firmware, it gets stuck. The four circles spin and it makes no progress. The Cyberpi cycles through the makeblock education logo, the menu, and the leds on the bottom flash green.
Any ideas?

Try connecting with a cable (not Bluetooth) when you update the firmware. Also, try the online version (https://ide.mblock.cc) to see if the firmware updates from there.

As far as app connectivity problems, after you reset the firmware, make sure you don’t upload any custom code, or it might not connect to the app.
