mBot Line Follower Sensitivity Adjustment

Hi guys! New to the forum and mBot.

I’ve tested on both matte paper and plain paper, it turns out just like others said- “higher contrast and closer to the floor is the key to function perfectly.” However, I’d also love to have some flexibility for my mBot build and wondering if there is any possible way to tweak the sensors. Any ideas? =)

I’d think that would not be possible unless you replace the sensor with a much higher quality (and more expensive) sensor. Regardless, my experience with line following sensors and color sensors is that they need to be calibrated against the ambient light where they are being run (which is why a lot of them provide their own active light source). :slight_smile:
