Mbot Gripper Not Working

Hi,
I just got a Gripper which when connected doesn’t work. I have followed several strands on this site with no success.

This is how I’ve connected the gripper.

Thanks for the quick response, Is there any way of fixing the Orion board to the Mbot?

Hi Lord.

The Dual motor driver does work when you use Orion board. But when you use the Orion board on mBot, the TT motor to drive the mBot doesn’t matach the motor interface on Oiron board, it is not suggested to do that.

I have the ranger which has the auriga board (which is based on the orion board). I had trouble using the Me dual motor driver as well and found this solution. First of all, does the red LED light turn on on the dual motor board (is it bright or dim)? I had to connect both RJ25 plugs to get enough power to get the LED to be bright and then it worked. Interestingly, after I used it for a while, it would work with only the one RJ25 plugged in. I have 4 of the Me dual motor boards and have had to do that for 3 of them. I can’s explain why that works but it helped me. Give it a try.
