Mbot firmware is not working correctly April 2017

On my new Mbot, I update the firmware but the makeblock app on my phone and ipad say the firmware is unrecognizable.

It is also incredible and bad that the upgrade firmware instructions are not part of the basic instructions for the mbot, starter robot or the ranger!

Hi, have you downloaded the latest mBlock v3.4.6 on your PC? Do you use Windows system or Mac?
Then try updating the mCore firmware at mBlock environment. 1. How to Upgrade Firmware for mBot.docx.zip (690.6 KB)

Regarding the suggestion of including upgrade firmware instructions as basic instructions, we will forward your feedback to Makeblock related personnel.

In addition, when you play the mBot with the Makeblock APP, please reset default program for the mBot instead of upgrading firmware. 2.How to reset default program manually.docx.zip (677.9 KB)

The upgrade firmware is needed for mBlock program online debug.

I got it to work on a second Mbot by installing the previous firmware that I happened to have on another computer. Is anyone else having trouble using the phone app with the latest firmware? 06.1.7 works. 06.1.107 does not work with the phone app.

Yes I experience the same problem it says it is on firmware version 6.1.8 and doesn’t work with the app anymore I had to install 3.4.8 makeblock software to get it working again, I will need to check my firmware version now that I got it working again.
