mBot engine bugs and How to update Firmware?

We just got our new mBots yesterday. They look great but they have many bugs / problems. When I use commands to do something with the engines (e.g. turn, move forward etc.), often (not always) the robot gets ‘stuck’ and continues to drive forward with no way to stop it other than the Reset button.

It may be an issue solved with the firmware update. I’ve seen in the guide that the mBlock software should have an update firmware option in the software but it doesn’t appear in the version I downloaded from your website (version 2.1.5.05.09.001).

Any ideas anyone?

In another thread we were discussing reset of factory settings for the mBot.
There are two links which refer to new mBlock software versions, which you could use to download version 2.1.5.0616.
I can see the “firmware update” menu entry in that version, which I installed!
