When I connect my mBot via usb, I get the following issue with the drivers http://i.imgur.com/JnlvsjQ.png. I have tried installing the Arduino drive via the mBlock interface but it does not help. Because of this I can not update the firmware. Any ideas?
I am using Windows 8.1
uninstalled mBot and installed the latest version. Downloaded driver via menu option and all good now 
That seems to be the fix for a lot of issues since there are a lot of code bits that all need to be of the correct version and it is safest the start over by removing everything and installing the latest. I’m glad you got it working.
