Mbot 2.4g connections issues

#1

I cannot get mBlock to recognize the 2.4g connection from my mBot.

I installed the mblock driver, installed mblock, installed the arduino driver, updated firmware (I am able to connect through USB). The LED on the wireless board goes solid, but when I click connect in the mBlock software nothing happens. No ports show up in the mblock software. I am not really sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using windows 10, but ran in to the same issue with windows 8.1.

Hi Tom_Shown

I do have the same issue running on Windows 10. I did not check on Windows 8.1. Do you have any news about how to solve this?

Regards,
Thomas

Hi!, Just saw this post. I went through the mblock/driver install process on a windows 8.1 computer and the connection was immediate and very easy. I have not been able to get a connection using windows 10 :frowning: . @enio, I just saw this post, sorry I did not respond sooner.

I was not able to connect using windows 10, but was able to with 8.1 using the same exact install process.

Try the following steps:
Power up MBot with 2,4G installed
Press button on 2.4g board (goes from slow flash to fast flash)
Insert White 2.4G dongle into computer (blue led goes 'solid-ON’
In IDE, click Connect, 2.4G
After a few seconds, re-open Connect Menu, 2.4G, verify Check mark is present

For me, this worked.
