Mblock5 arduino uno and bluetooth HC05/HC06

#1

Hi!

I just downloaded mblock5 on macos Catalina (mblock3 is not supported on this osx) and I connected it to an Arduino Uno. My question is can I use mblock5 to create arduino code that uses an arduino bluetooth controller such as HC05/06. This has been feasible for mblock3 with various extensions out there, but aparrently is no longer available. Is it feasible?

Thanks!

I am new to this platform but it is my understanding is that you can wrap up any Ardunio code into a block and create an extension. It is just probable that no one has created the needed extension yet so you will need to create it yourself.

hi there,

thanks for the reply. Yes I was expecting something ready  . After writing the post I found that I can add and write extensions on mblock5 and there are a couple of bluetooth available on french and turkish. I am not clear though if these extensiobs are supposed to work only on mblock3 or on mblock5 as well. I am also new in this platform. In any case I will try and create a new extension or experiment and translate the existing one

thanks!!

Hi,
I’m not sure if you mean this block.
