I have been programming Arduino’s for quite some time but i would like to be able to teach Mblock and Ardublock it just does not make sense to me. Programming in C on the Arduino IDE just come naturally but I cant understand the graphical programming and your tutorials are not very complete and there is not much on youtube on those programming languages.
mBlock and arduBlock Teaching
@wildwingman, please check this site https://scratch.mit.edu.
Mblock is based on Scratch and there’re plenty of Scratch tutorials/examples
around the internet and youtube.
Mblock is just extended Scratch having additional blocks for Arduino hardware
and the graphical language logic is the same.
Hi everyone,
I am also planning to teach Arduino and Mblock. I write the http://ArduinoInfo.Info site along with my wife who is the Educator (I’m the Engineer/Nerd part)… I have found over the past few years that it’s highly important to have very clear explanations coupled with graphical examples.
I have thousands of kits being used in Universities and schools, but I need to be able to effectively engage kids in (USA) grades 5 to 8, and that will take a better more graphical approach.
I’ll try to keep in touch here…
