Makeblock support at Codebender.cc

#1

I would like to make a request of all those using the Makeblock systems. If you are having problems running code on the Arduino platform and are running into errors compiling because of missing or out of date libraries, you might want to check out Codebender.cc. They have a browser based code editor with 486 Arduino Libraries, 1,895 Library Examples, 82 Arduino Boards and 67,026 Arduino Sketches to date. This makes it much easier to write code because you don’t have to go looking for that one “include” that just isn’t being found! Right now they do not have the Makeblock included in their system, but I have added a request that it be added. These requests are considered by the amount of interest. Please visit and add your voice to the request. The site is free and you can store and share your code there as well. An added bonus is that your code compiles and loads much faster than the Arduino software does!

I am unable to connect the ME Orion to codebender. I have it attached, and turned on, but codebender is not detecting it.

Hello,
Were you able to get Makeblock included in CodeBender? I came across CodeBender the other day, had the same thought, and saw your post on this forum.

Thanks!

I have tried to load the Makeblock library as a personal library into Codebender, with no luck. It loads, but when I try and run a program that includes the library, it gives me an error.
Has anyone been successful at including a personal library from Makeblock?

I am trying to find a solution:

We have a school of Chromebooks. I can use Codebender with our Chromebooks and our Arduino Unos, but I really want to add the Me Uno Shields with the Arduino Unos, and the different Makeblock sensors and motors. I guess I just want to do it all.

If anyone has ideas for Chromebooks and mBlock or Codebender (with makeblock libraries) let me know.

Thanks,
Robert

This app can support mBot for Scratch X. I test it all right on Windows&Macosx, But 2.4G module doesn’t work on Chromebook and needs to access usb permission on Linux.

Hi all,
Looks like Codebender added Makeblock (meOrion and mCore) support http://blog.codebender.cc/2016/03/09/μakeblock-me-orion-mcore-welcome-aboard/

Great news! I like Codebender’s site. It’s faster than loading code from the Arduino software and for the most part you don’t have to worry about finding the library because they are there.

I’m now hoping Codebender can update to support Me Uno Shield
