Makeblock Android app v1.0.26 issues

#1

Hi!

I’m trying to use Android app v1.0.26 to control a Starter Robot Kit Bluetooth version, using V01.01.104 firmware downloaded from the Github repos.

First of all, I’m having problems pairing some devices, with different Android versions, from Jelly Bean to the latest Marshmallow revisions. Finally I managed to connect a Galaxy S3 with Android L ROM to test the updated app.

My robot is detected and I can start to manually control it, but the joystick doesn’t works well. It moves the robot in a very wrong way. It isn’t a problem with inverted cables or something like that.

The automatic mode and the proximity sensor doesn’t work at all. I tried to change the ports and none worked.

Can anyone confirm that the Android app v1.0.26 works with the Robot Starter Kit Bluetooth Version?

I hope the Makeblock support team help me.

Thanks a lot for reading this topic.

I’m pretty busy these days. When I have a moment, I start to work on it.
