Love makeblock, but want to use Raspberry PI

I love what you guy do , but wish to code all my stuff using Raspberry PI 2 and Python (played around with Arduino for a while and not a fan, but LOVE Raspberry and GPIO stuff).

will this device be all I need to work with ALL THE electronics you guys sale (i.e.: sensors, servos, motors)?

We are developing a board with can be compatible with all our robotic parts, sensors as well as raspberry pi. It will release this month. Pay attention to our social account to get more tips and tricks.

I’ve been playing around with controlling a Makeblock Orion + sensors from an RPi2 via the MeShield and trying to make this as clean as possible in Python. Have a look: https://github.com/jafletch/makeblock-serial/
