I want to replace electric batteries with a lithium battery.

keep in mind that while using 4 batteries of 2100 mAh you get (the are in serial: 4*1.5v = 6 volt 2100 mAh) while you get 4.2volt (when full) 4.2V 5100 mAh when using the battery you mentioned
i suspect there is a DCDC pump/bec that converts the voltage – that conversion usally is 95% efficient (or worse)
