Linux OS for a new user

#1

Hello users,

This question may be offtopic here, but i need your kind suggestions. I am now going to reinstall an operating system in my computer.
I had Windows 10 earlier. Now I am thinking to use Linux. I have not used it before so I have a few doubts.

Will it be difficult to use and understand Linux?
Will Linux be faster than Winodows 10?

Thanks

That is a big question.
I have used different versions of unix for over 30 years.

You may want to look at
https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspberry-pi-desktop/

It is GUI based with drop down menus.

You can also look at using virtual machine software, such as vmware, which would allow you to run multiple operating systems on a single computer.
