Laserbox not working with OS Monterrey

#1

Since we updated our Macs OS (Monterrey), our Laserbox will not longer connect via ethernet/USB/wifi. We have downloaded recent Laserbox software and works fine on older Macbook running Sierra. When will this issue be fixed? We have bought 3 machines and this is very frustrating.

Why can’t the computer connect the laser treasure box via USB?

There are many reasons are related to the user’s computer environment (such as being blocked during driver installation, using proxy and other wall-climbing software, and the history firmware version before 018 is not compatible with Mac computer systems after 10.13). The steps are as follows:

  1. Turn off all antivirus software when installing the software, and update the laserbox software and laser treasure box firmware to the latest version. If the current computer cannot be connected to the device for updating, try to find another computer connection; if there is no other computer available for connection, try to use SD Card to update the firmware;

  2. Turn off all wall-climbing software (100% of wall-climbing software cannot be connected when it is open);
    3, wait for the machine to start, 6 ring lights are always white lights before software connection (such as can not light 6 white lights, indicating that the machine itself is abnormal), after the connection “drop” sound, and 6 ring lights turn blue;

  3. Insert the USB before the laser box is turned on, and then open the laser box to connect the host computer;

  4. Use a network cable to connect the device and the computer. If the USB connection cannot be connected to the Apple computer, you can use the network cable adapter to try to connect or use the Windows computer to connect and configure the Wifi connection;

  5. If the above operation cannot be solved, try to install the driver
    Windows Driver Reference: https://makeblock.yuque.com/mkquality/yyl8ng/nf3xir#UwqZJ
    Mac driver reference accessories;

  6. After upgrading to the latest system Bigsur, Apple computer cannot connect due to the opening of the SIP protection system. You can manually close the SIP and try to connect again. The closing steps are as follows:
    a.Turn off your Mac (Apple > Shut Down)
    b.Hold down Command-R and press the Power button
    c.Wait for OS X to boot into the OS X Utilities window
    d.Choose Utilities > Terminal
    e.Enter csrutil disable
    f.Enter reboot
    g.Run the command on Terminal: sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/HoRNDIS.kext

  7. The above method can basically solve more than 90% of the connection problems. If it cannot be solved, you can only choose to replace the main board to solve
