I’ve attached an image of the problem I’m having engraving text. At the top you can see the 3cm image burned using outline mode and it is flipped left to right, but looks okay otherwise. However, if I use the Scan by Line mode the engraver shifts each register creating a slanted image. I tried doing Outline mode with a bigger piece of text but as it burns it too begins to shift left and right. You can see that the C and A are actually different than the rest of the text (it starts burning these letters first). By the time it gets to the first H it really starts to have problems. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!!
I’m using bitmaps created in Photoshop and I’m saving them in the Windows codec at 24bits. Is this a laser engraver problem or am I doing something wrong with creating the images?
