Java platform se binary has stopped working

Every time I try to upload a program in Arduino mode to my bot I get this error:

java platform se binary has stopped working

I’ve tried various fixes and updated Java etc. Anyone else getting this?

What OS are you using (and yes, I know that Java is cross-platform :slight_smile: ) and what version of Java?

windows 7 home and latest version of Java, I am downloading the 32 bit version, latest version of Mblock too!

Running MBlock as Administrator works … at least this time …

Sounds like a permissions problem. Make sure that the user account has permissions for all of the Java folders.

That’s been my experience at least, because if it works for the Admin account but not for user accounts then it usually comes down to a permissions problem.
