Is mblock opensource?

I would like to know if mblock is opensource or not. And if it is opensource then under which license ?

Yes, mBlock 3.x is Open Source under the GPLV2 license (link). mBlock 5.x is based on Scratch 3.0. Scratch 3.0 is licensed under the BSD 3-Clause “New” or “Revised” license, so Makeblock I would assume at some point Makeblock will make the source for mBlock 5 available (It’s currently in beta as is Scratch 3.0 which is due to be released in January 2019). You can look at the Scratch 3.0 code here. One of the things I’m a bit concerned about is that the direction seems to be to do everything in the browser and require an Internet connection. I’d rather see develop go towards SNAP so that I can work offline if necessary, but it’s not my project.
