Introducing mBot extension for App Inventor v1.9

Makeblock dev team has always been improving our support for the App Inventor. We just released the 1.9 version.

Changes:

  • Uses Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE), which simplifies the connecting experience. Now you may connect your mBot with even only one button.
  • Added support for 9g mini servo
  • Now sensor values are read through events, easier for programming.

Thank you for creating this plugin. I am using it with 20 students who are building robots for my Mobile App Class. We use MIT App Inventor for the classroom.

I have created a test app, and everything is working very well :slight_smile:

Hi Guys,
I there any way to use App inventor with Me aruiga? Do you know if makeblock hasve any plans to support it?

There is not only a plan, but also an extension: http://appinventor-en.makeblock.com/
It even supports Makeblock’s drone.
