Install Laser Upgrade for XY Plotter on Mac OS X

I’ve got my plotter working in GRemote on OSX, at least the x and y. Haven’t been able to get it to do anything in mDraw yet. The instructions for the laser show a red wire, however both wires are black, with one having a dashed grey line. I assumed that one was supposed to be the red one…But it’s not lighting up. Can’t seem to find a method for loading the laser firmware onto the board with mac, only seeing the tool in .exe format. Any help would be awesome…

Hi Geekhero,

After you opened the mDraw.exe software, have you chosen the robot form to XY, then select the correct serial port and connect? Show the steps below

Please also note that you may need connect again after successfully upgrade the firmware since sometimes it disconnect automatically.
