I prepare somes files to lasercut in Adobe illustrator. The size is ok in adobe, but when i import in laserbox, the scale is not the same, and when i set width and height in design tab, the file will not be correct… Any idea to correct the problem ?
The support for DXF by AI software is problematic. For example, draw a 100*100mm rectangle in CAD software and save it as a DXF file. After importing this DXF file to AI, the size changes. Therefore, there is a problem with AI’s support for DXF. We recommend that you change the zoom value from 1 to 25.4 in the zoom option when exporting DXF using AI, in this way, the size of the saved DXF file in Laserbox is the same as that of AI.
