How to you stop cables getting entangled?

How to you stop cables getting entangled?

I mean the power and USB cable point upwards into the air from their sockets on the Orion board, but when the pen/servo part of the plotter gets close to the Orion the wires to the limit switches and servo can be caught “behind” the power and USB wires. With disastrous results when the pen goes to the opposite side of the plotter.

All suggestions welcome…

I had the same problem regularly…

I move the board and used a plastic knife to avoid cable mess.

I ended up putting a 25 cm vertical stick in one corner and using longer cables hooked throught the top of it.
