How to use the mbot claw

I have an mbot and i need to know how to use this claw (pictured below) any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You need the RJ25 adapter to connect that to the mBot:

Then you can use the Servo block to control the servo in the gripper.

  • the Servo block has 2 parameters - port and slot. Port is as usual, slot refers to where you plug in the gripper cable on the RJ25 adapter.
  • in the desktop version ob mBlock, the Servo block is available in the Maker’s Platform extension
  • just try out which angles in the servo block open or close the gripper as desired. You might need to use negative values.
