How to update hardware of mbot ranger on mobile?

#1

Help me! When I was playing with my mbot ranger, when I try moving it, it suddenly stops and makes some sort of beeping noise, I tried update the hardware on my pc, it didn’t work, not even Bluetooth.

#2

@Blazindude365 have you restarted your Ranger, and have you uploaded the firmware to the robot from a PC (again)?

#3

How do I restart my ranger?

#4

@Blazindude365 turn the power switch on and then off while the device is unplugged, remove the batteries while the device is unplugged, or press the reset button on the main Ranger board.

#5

Wheres the “reset button on the main ranger board”?

#6

Nevermind I found it

#7

@Blazindude365

#8

Should I reset with the power switch on or off?

#9

@Blazindude365 On.

#10

It didn’t work at all.

#11

I still get the stopping and beeping that I don’t want

#12

@Blazindude365 Are the batteries fully charged, and have you uploaded an empty code to make sure the code is not the issue?

#13

The batteries are fully charged.

#14

@Blazindude365

#15

How do I upload an empty code?

#16

@Blazindude365
Go to the mBlock code editor.
https://ide.mblock.cc/

Create a code like this:

Connect your device via the USB cable and upload the code to it through mBlock.

#17

Is there an USB cable exclusively in the kit?

#18

@Blazindude365 mBot Ranger does come with a USB cable.
It looks like this one:
