How to ... (mBot + gripper) & (mBot + video transmission)

#1

Can anyone help me with:

  1. adding a gripper to an mBot
  • Mini Gripper or Robot Gripper are both OK: whatever’s easiest
  • what other components do I need?
  1. transmitting video from a (Bluetooth) mBot
  • what other components do I need?

Thank you,

Colin

Mini gripper is ok for light and small items. You would also probably need a servo to lift the gripper up, a RJ25 module and some additional mechanical parts. I suggest to buy this extension set because it has a servo, the RJ25 connector and some mechanical parts - good value for the money. Plus an extra LED module.

Add the mini gripper and you can build a grip which you can mount in front of a the robot and lift / lower it.

Concerning the video part of your question: I am not aware of a video module for mBot. However you could mount a smartphone on the mBot for the video part.
