How to charge the Ranger?

Do you have to take out the rechargeable batteries from the Ranger, or can you just plug in the USB to charge them?
Asking because i couldn’t get the robot charged through USB, I could only charge the batteries in a standalone charger. So I was wondering if the bot was broken, or if I am doing something wrong.

Ranger doesn’t have an onboard charger for batteries,only mBot offers that.

Although it is a third-party product, there is a battery for Ranger.
However, unlike the mbot battery, this battery cannot be charged via USB via the robot.

Yes, you should charge the batteries in a standalone charger.
