How do i increase the sensitivity of the soundsensor within mBlock?

I’ve got the Me Orion, Me Sound Sensor V1 and Me Potentiometer hooked up.
The range of the Sound Sensor varies from 487 to 560 (if i shout out loud).
Within the Makeblock blocks i can see no possibilities to extend that range and control the sensitivity (as advertised: http://www.makeblock.cc/me-sound-sensor/ )

Could it be i happen to have a faulty sound sensor?
