How do i connect my android to the bluetooth module from makeblock

Let me be more specific; I have the Makeblock starter kit robot that I have set up in the tank mode. I got the IR working, however, for what I need it to do the IR is to sensitive (needs me to be able to point directly at it at all times, which I cannot do). So I got a Makeblock Bluetooth module, and tried to make it work.
It hasn’t, and I don’t know if that has to do with the code (I copied the code off the Bluetooth Module V.2) or that I don’t have it set up correctly. I have tried it connected to port 3,4, and 6, but no luck.
A separate but related question is: Where is the Makeblock Bluetooth Controller app? I can’t find it anywhere on the google playstore, so I have been trying lots of other Bluetooth controller apps, with no luck.
So at this point I’m not sure if its the code for the Bluetooth module itself, or that the controller apps I am finding aren’t the correct/best ones to use with the module (They are all connecting with the Bluetooth module, though, which makes me think it might simply be the app issue, and not the code, I just don’t know though)
