Help with UART on mBot 2

Hi,

I’m looking to implement the openMV cam on the mbot2 I have to play around with an AI camera that can be trained. From what I have understood so far is that I should connect the cam to the shield on s1 using UART. After this it gets a bit fuzzy. I’m comfortable with software, but hardware is new to me. So can I expect things to “just work” and if I send data from the cam to the wire, I can read it with the “read digital pin” scratch block? Or is some more required?

Do you have any specific setups or camera models, etc. in mind? I need a bit more info to help you.

I’m considering the OpenMV Cam H7 Plus.
Also supports I2C and SPI.
