I’m a classroom teacher and we have just starting using our mBots for the year. I have two robots that are ticking when turned on. We have reset default program and upgraded firmware, turned off and on. But still doing it and nothing works.
I found a thread from a couple of years ago, it suggested changing batteries but still doing it.
Any help greatly appreciated

Do you upgrade firmware right after reset default program?
When play the mBot with IR remote controller or mobile APPs, you just need reset default program for mBot.

Please note: it is suggested to unplug the Bluetooth/2.4G module from mCore while reset default program.
Then test it with IR remote controller or mobile APP directly.
Once still the issue, please kindly take a video to show the status on the mBot when you power it on and record the ticking noise either, thanks!
