I just assembled the mBot ranger for the 1st time and I can connect successfully to my I pad app.
Problem 1: “Obstacle avoiding” does not work correctly. The ranger moves backwards by sequentially moving one tractor drive and then the other so it zig-zags around the floor but cannot avoid any objects
Problem 2: “line following” does not work. The robot just moves forward at constant speed but cannot follow the line.
Comments: the blue LEDs/sensors (that should track the line) change polarity when there is an object placed in front of them
I can control the 3 colors from the I pad slides
I confirmed the connections are all correct
