I am new to coding world so Ia am looking for some help. I bought my step son a new bot for xmas Starter Robot kit IR version and we added Robotic arm add on for starter robot kit. No matter how i set up the coding i get no response from it. I have spent days looking on line for video or help and no luck. Can someone send me some coding help. If i can get some basic codes to get the arm and wheels to work I can play around and figure it out. I am a lost here. thank you

Since you bought the IR version Starter robot, you can make it work by Upgrading firmware for it first and then reset default program. Attachments are the instructions.4. How to upgrade firmware for starter.docx.zip (1.1 MB)
2. How to reset default program for starter with mBlock.docx.zip (1.0 MB)
After above, you can control the Starter robot with the IR remote controller. While you cannot control the robot ARM by the IR remote controller.
The robot ARM can only be controlled by the Makeblock APP HD which need a bluetooth connection. Since there is no Bluetooth module for the IR version Starter, I am afraid that you are unable to control the robot ARM. The robot ARM is suitable for Bluetooth version Starter robot.
