Hi my son and I have built the Mbot, all working fine (IR Model), we then went on and built the gripper arm extension kit, but once we attached it to the mbot, it wouldn’t work, just the motion would work on the IR controls. I noticed then that we should be using number 5 port not number 6, changed over and nothing worked at all. Any Ideas?
Thanks Mark

Which gripper are you using? The standard MakeBlock gripper plugs into a DC motor controller port. I’m pretty sure the mBot only supports two DC motors. A motor controller module needs to plug into a red port. If you are using a servo gripper then that should work fine.

yes, our gripper arm is plugged into both red ports, and our ir controller is plugged into the No5 port, all as the diagram both on the printed instructions and also the web down load.
Any ideas?
