Google Claims Your Site Contains Malware

#1

This morning when I went to mblock.cc and clicked the Download button, I received a warning from Google claiming it has found malware on the server. As other people have asked for, you should provide alternative servers for downloading mBlock (which are preferably faster).

Thanks,
Aram

Update: When Google Chrome finished downloading “mBlock_win_V3.4.3 rev2.exe”, Chrome blocked mBlock :worried:.

#3

I had the same experience. Minutes later there was no problem anymore. No idea what is going on.

#4

I’m tried now and didn’t get any warnings but I still have 8 minutes to download :frowning:.

Hi Aramperez,

The mBlock software is totally safe, please don’t worry about that.
You may upgrade chrome web browser to latest one or change the web browser have a try.

Anyway, I will also transfer it to you through pCloud tansfer, please kindly check the email from pCLoud transfer later. Please let me know if there is the same warning when you download from pCloud transfer. Thanks!

I’m using Chrome browser on Mac. When I started to download, Chrome browser was more assertive, saying not just that the site “might” contain malware, but that in fact they had actually detected malware at this IP address.

This is not acceptable for a retail company. Also, I work with schools, and there is no way that I can tell them to “just go ahead anyway” with a warning from Google like this.

This MUST be resolved.

I totally agree!

#8

Yes, this must be resolved. Not doing so runs the risk of tainting the reputation of Makeblock with the STEM educator community.
