General connecting problems

Hello
I hope someone can help.
Very little on my computer screen looks like the tutorial on the website.
e.g. the bluetooth option is greyed out so I cannot choose the bluetooth option.
I have done the firmware upgrade and am using Windows7.
The other thing is that the “Extensions” tab does not have an “mBot” option, only the Makeblock option.
At this stage I can’t use the thing.

Make sure you click Connect and select Install Arduino Driver. Under Extensions make sure Makeblock is checked. Under Boards make sure mBot is checked.

I followed your steps and the bluetooth is still greyed out. My iPad also does not pick it up on the bluetooth devices.
Any ideas re the bluetooth?
