GCode problem

Hello All!

I just bought and constructed the xy plotter 2.0, but when i try to upload the GCode it does not work. I have double checked the wires to make sure everything is connected correctly but i still dont know what the problem is.

I uploaded the board with the GCodeParser serial port COM9. Though the problem arises when i open the GRemote.bah. When i open the gcode this shows up:

it does not have the same gcode that the walkthrough has. What is my problem? Also when i select a COM9 this shows up instead of the interface for the xy plotter.

Same problem for me on Windows 10 as well as Mac OS X 10.11.3 with external signed USB driver… :frowning:

I had given up on making Benbox work so I was messing about with this last night and had the same problem. Turns out if you type ‘M11’ into the green box it’ll populate the buttons. I think the Java software is waiting for the plotter to send its configuration before populating the buttons; however this does not happen automatically on connect.

I’m using the latest mDraw firmware from Github if it makes a difference.

As a side note, I was able to massage the output from the demo PicLaser software to work with GRemote
