I just got a mBot to my son for christmas and we’ve been playing with it.
There is no help in mBlock, and I wondered if I could find somewhere a full description of all mBot blocks and the range of values produced by the sensors ?
Also, we managed to upload a program with wall avoidance and adjusting speed based on light intensity, plus we wanted to use the line follower to avoid falls, but the readings were erratic. So we used the faceplate to get the readings of the line following module and what happened was :
- when executing directly from mblock with the flag, the faceplate showed normal readings (0/1/2/3)
- Once the program was uploaded to the mBot (upload to arduino), the faceplate showed “ret” and nothing else…
any idea ?
