Firmware Upgrade to v1.1.7 software fails

I’ve upgraded to the latest version of Laserbox software v1.1.7 and when it launches it asks to upgrade the firmware. It downloads the file and starts the upgrade process and just as the progress bar almost reaches the end it always fails with the big red X and the message “The upgrade failed. Please try again later.”

Can someone from Makeblock tell me how to get around this problem and what am I missing by running an older version of firmware with newer software?

Hi there:

You can try to connect laserbox with your PC by wifi and update the firmware once again.

I don’t have Wifi in the room with the lasercutter so can’t try this unfortunately. Any other ideas?

Can you provide more information about your machine? first generation laserbox? please advise.
