Failed to upgrade firmware

Hi all

I’ve have bought a Starter kit (With “Me Orion board”), to at school project here in Denmark.
When I connect my PC with the robot via serial port (#5) and trying to upgrade my firmware, its says after a while “upload failed”.

  • My robot is offline.
  • I’ve got the newest update for my mblock.

Anyone out there who can help me with this little problem ?

HI MSK, whats your PC, its a windows or a Mac version? Have you check My device panel and sure about “COM5” is the correct port? Also you have to chosen the correct board as “Arduno Uno” under Boards of the software, have you done? kindly have a check accroding to my suggestion, and if the problem still exist, pelase send email to us by support@makeblock.cc, thanks!

I am getting the same error. Did you figure this one out? I have the v3.3.1 mBlock IDE.

Hi amirmira,

Please temporarily disconnect bluetooth module from the Starer (if it is IR version Starter, you can bypass this step), and then reset default program refer to this instruction have a try.
