Example for scripting Bluetooth Robot Starter NEEDED!

#1

I’ve an Robot Starter Kit.
It works with infrared and ultrasonic.

Problem: i’ve no idea how to use the bluetooth module.
I can connect the module to the Orion board.
With Arduino IDE I used a example script to test the bluetooth, and it seems that works…
But when I start the makeblock App on my Ipad, i can connect but nothing works.

of course, because I didn’t know how to write the Arduino IDE script.
No examples, nothing.

Who can please help me??

Hello
You can download the example code on Github, and I have a question when you connect your robot to your ipad via bluetooth, does it work? As far as I know, the relevant program has download into the orion board, it should be working when you connect to the makeblock app.

Thanks Peterlee,
do you have a link to the github location?
I didn’t find it there myself…

When I start the app on my ipad i see the MakeBlock device and it can connect.
I did connect the makeblock with usb to my computer and with the Arduino IDE Serial Monitor I see information when (for example) moving a app-motor-slider. The response in de serial monitor looks like garbage, but maybe that’s a problem with baudrate, or with my own interpretation…

Hello
Please visit
https://github.com/Makeblock-official/mBlock/blob/master/installer/mBlock-All-In-One-v2.1.5.zip?raw=true
download the mBlock software, then connet to your Orion board, click the"boads" selet the “Me Orion”, and
click “Connect” select “upgrade firmware(Me Orion)” and it will download the programs or you can select “view source” to see the programs.

Suggestion for makeblock website/wiki etc…
please update the pages with the recent information, downloadlinks, etc.
It took a lot of time for me to get it work. On the wiki and websites the links doesn’t work or are not recently updated.

THANKS!
